Briefly introduce the LCP materials:
Liquid crystal polymer (Liquid Crystal Polyester) is composed of a kind of rigid molecular chain. In short, although it is solid, it has liquid properties and crystal properties.

1. Clearance area
From mobile phone motherboards, chips to other audio batteries and other mobile phone built-in hardware, major mobile phone brands are constantly compressing the use of built-in hardware in order to make the mobile phone screen bigger. Then the clearance area of the antenna becomes smaller.
LCP can make the antenna miniaturized, and the antenna radiator can be bent reasonably. It is a way to reduce the size of the antenna in space. While bending the antenna, it can produce multi-mode resonance characteristics. , Broadband is helpful.
2. The LCP material can replace the original coaxial cable on the antenna for large-capacity data transmission. The thickness of the flexible circuit using LCP material is only 0.2 mm! And has a three-layer structure, can carry several signal lines, can replace coaxial lines.
The LCP material soft board has the same excellent transmission loss performance as the coaxial transmission line, and lower cost.
The LCP film is used to design an antenna on it, and a coplanar waveguide CPW is used to lead the signal to the chip end with low loss, eliminating the need for a thick coaxial cable. And multiple RF lines can be led out together.
Summarizing the advantages of the above LCP material antenna, the headroom area is increased, the LCP soft board does not need to be coaxial, the low electromagnetic loss material, and the cost is lower, this is LCP.
